Brighter is Better
Everybody wants attractive and bright white teeth. Visiting your dentist can help achieve that. During your regular cleaning we use a polishing brush to help remove surface stains. Also, here at ProDentalFx, LLC, we offer elective gel tooth whitening in the office, which can raise your teeth several shades in brightness. But you should know a couple facts that can help you keep your teeth bright while at home. Drink dark staining drinks such as coffee, tea, hot chocolate or soda in moderation. If you drink these, use a straw, drink water in between, and/or consider brushing your teeth 30 minutes afterwards. You can also use whitening toothpaste as a simple way to keep your teeth bright. Bacteria on the surface of your teeth form plaque, and this sticky substance will also stain your teeth.
