To improve patient care we have now aquired a cone beam CT scanner, providing many advantages to our patients. We can now selectively image your jaw in one scan, rather than taking multiple x-rays. Also, this provides 3D images of your oral anatomy, rather than the 2D images provided by standard x-rays. You can imagine how much easier it is for the dentist to make accurate diagnoses, and to provide accurate surgery, when your mouth is understood in three dimensions, not two.
